Background:

My name is Wilson Gracey and I specialize in Japanese, hollow ground, and all types of beauty sheers/scissors, clipper blades and knives of all types. Additionally, we also sharpen clipper blades and shears for pet groomers. Yes, I do sharpen lower priced flat blade German barber scissors and clipper blades also. I use only the finest up to date machines when sharpening your beauty shears, clipper blades, and knives. In my sharpening lab you will find four different professional sharpening machines. Simply put one machine does not do it all. I use the Japanese diamond sharpening and polishing system for all your Japanese and hollow ground beauty shears. Your lower priced flat blade German scissors are sharpened with the professional barber honing system. Clipper blades are all sharpened on the world's finest clipper blade sharpening machine. Knives always come out razor sharp with perfect edge when sharpened on my tru hone knife sharpener. Yes, I do sharpen heavy-duty tailor shears, sewing shears and most all other scissors large or small including tin snips.

My professional training

Two things are important before you attempt to sharpen anything. First, you need the right professional machines and tools for each item you plan to sharpen as no one machine sharpens them all. Second, and most important, you need to be specially trained in using the machines you have purchased, otherwise you will damage or ruin the things you are trying to sharpen. I took the time and spent the money to get trained on my entire lot of machines before I started sharpening. It proved to be one of the best choices I ever made. My clients now tell me that I am one of the best scissors and clipper blade sharpeners they have seen. I have been doing professional sharpening now for over twelve years and am expanding my mail order sharpening service from coast to coast in Canada.
